For Writers Who Keep On Writing and Those Who Read Them

I recently read a column by Ronnie Polaneczky, a metro columnist for the Philadelphia Daily News, and it reminded me of all the journalists, past and present, who have toiled for the newspapers and wire services in the Philadelphia area. Many of them are still active today via blogs and other means available online and I think that's a bonus for all of us.

I feel a kindred spirit with folks like Stu Bykofsky (www.philly.com/byko), also a columnist for the Daily News, and Bob Ingram (http://travelswithtrump.blogspot.com), who care enough about what is going on in this country to speak out. In the case of Bob Ingram's "A Civic Duty," you will see some of the best political cartoons around created by Bob and Donald Day.

And, while you're at it, check the articles on www.cmcdigest.com to see what one former UPI newsman and reporter has learned working in more than 15 countries on four continents over the past 50 years.

We look forward to hearing from you no matter what side of the political spectrum you're on.
