Success Through The Years

Pet Owners: Beware of Poisonous PlantsIt’s always time to smell the flowers no matter how old you are.

The following was sent to me by my friend Anita Ellis, the author of the “Letter From Jerusalem”, and I thought I would share it with you. It is entitled “Success.”

At age 4 success is not piddling in your pants.

At age 12 success is having friends.

At age 17 success is having friends.

At age 35 success is having money.

At age 50 success is having money.

At age 70 success is having a driver’s license.

At age 75 success is having friends.

At age 80 success is not piddling in your pants.

I’d like to add that if you are lucky to get beyond that age, then success is just keeping busy (mentally and physically) and enjoying what life has to offer — good friends and family. Nothing else matters.
